Scott Reidenbach

Scott Reidenbach is the founding principal of Reidenbach & Associates, LLC. Mr. Reidenbach founded the firm in 2007. The firm’s first pivotal years, through the economic downturn of 2008, established its position among the Pennsylvania real estate community and national homebuilders as a sage, value-based provider of legal counsel. 

Scott has extensive experience litigating and resolving real estate-related disputes at all stages, including trials, arbitrations and mediation. Scott represents both plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of disputes related to construction defects, subcontractor issues, building codes, contract disputes and insurance claims. Scott's practice also includes Business Law, Commercial Litigation, Employment Law and Civil Litigation.

Scott currently works with several of the largest regional and national homebuilders. He has deep and broad experience with residential planned community issues such as condominium and community association law; declarations; bylaws and rules & regulations; public offering statements; project approval processes; land development; board control and governance; property management, and condemnation and eminent domain.

Scott has achieved successful jury verdicts in every county within Southeastern Pennsylvania and has argued and appeared before the Pennsylvania Superior Court.  

Scott has testified in court as an expert in the field of Condominium and Community Association Law and is a frequent lecturer, speaker and presenter on topics ranging from real estate sales and development to collections to property management.

Scott is regularly featured and offers legal perspective on NBC 10, 6 ABC, and CBS 3, among other local and national media outlets.

Pitcher for Villanova University baseball teams that won two Big East championships (1991 & 1993)

Appeared in several scenes as a “background artist”/extra in a Denzel Washington movie partially filmed in Philadelphia in 1996. Can you guess the movie?

As an eleven year old in 1982, hit 265 consecutive pitches off of a pitching machine at Cheshire Academy (CT), a record that still stands today!

Representative matters

  • Defended the nation’s largest residential home builder in $80 million construction defect lawsuit.

  • Represented buyers of new residential construction in suit against their builder for defective construction, recovering six figure damages in settlement for clients.

  • Mediated dispute between condominium association and commercial unit owner involving disagreement over correct amount of assessments owed to association.

  • Represented homeowner association in transition from declarant where profound stormwater management costs and maintenance were placed on the association by declarant.

  • Served as consultant and expert witness on behalf of a religious organization in dispute with former pastor over real estate ownership rights between the parties.
